Please note, if your application is for future enrolment e.g. two-plus years, we will contact you to arrange an interview the year preceeding your child's starting year.

Following your enrolment interview, our team carefully reviews each application. Families can expect to receive the outcome of their enrolment application within two weeks of their interview, and our Administration team will be available to support you throughout the process. Choosing a school is one of the most important decisions you'll make for your child. While every school offers learning opportunities, Catholic schools provide an education that nurtures the whole child academically, socially, emotionally and spiritually.
At our school, your child will be known, valued and supported as an individual. We strive to create a welcoming community where students feel a sense of belonging, develop strong relationships and are encouraged to become their very best version of themselves.
Catholic education is grounded in values such as compassion, respect, service, inclusion and justice. These values are woven through everyday school life, helping students grow into confident young people who care for others and make a positive contribution to their community.
Yes, Mater Dei Our has the ‘On Our Way to Mater Dei’ Pre-Prep Program that aims to help our youngest learners and their families feel happy, confident and connected as they prepare to begin Prep.
The program comprises of both social and curriculum focused sessions and are held over the course of the year, with consistent visits to the school helping build confidence and familiarity well before the first day.
To learn more about our program, visit the Prep Sessions page.
Our school welcomes enrolment applications for all grades at any time of the year. However, for Prep enrolments we generally follow a set timeline and you are encouraged to submit during Term 1 the year before your child is due to start school.
We are currently accepting Prep enrolment applications for 2028 and beyond. For other year levels, please enquire with our Administration team for the latest information for enrolment and availability at our school.
Applications are open for up to five years before your child is due to commence Prep, allowing you to apply early. If applying early, we'll also be able to keep in touch with your family, sharing important enrolment updates, upcoming events and opportunities to connect with our school community as your child's start date approaches.
Enrolment offers are generally made within two weeks of the initial interview.

Absolutely! In fact, the best way to know whether our school is the right fit for your family is to experience it for yourself.
We encourage families to attend a school tour or Open Day to meet our staff, explore our learning environments, and get a feel for our community. It's a wonderful opportunity to ask questions and see firsthand what makes our school special. You can visit us during Open Week or sign up for a Principal's Tour. Visit our School Tours page to find out more.
We look forward to welcoming you and helping you discover whether our school is the right fit for your family.
We welcome students and families who share in the values and ethos of a Catholic education. Each application we receive is assessed on its merit however where limited availability exists, priority may be given to:
- Students from Catholic families who are baptised or have a demonstrated commitment to the faith within their Parish community
- A sibling of a current or past student of the school
- A current student of another BCE Catholic school, other Catholic schools or Kindergartens managed by Catholic Early EdCare
Families are encouraged to review the BCE Enrolment Policy before submitting an application.
We are committed to supporting every student to thrive. We believe every child deserves access to a high-quality education. We are committed to keeping our school fees affordable so more families can benefit from a Catholic education, regardless of their circumstances. You can learn more about fee assistance, family and sibling discounts, estimate your school fees, and find answers to common questions by visiting our School fee policy and Fee Information page.
